After securing in January 2024 the perfect land for a PV and BESS project in the Romanian province of Neamt, the local grid operator issued end of August 2025 the ATR (“Aviz Tehnic de Racordare”) guaranteeing grid access for a 49,7 MWe PV and a 193 MWh BESS project.
The project benefits from a highly efficient grid connection setup, as the substation will be built directly on the same plot as the PV plant. In addition, the compact designof the PV and BESS layout contributes to optimizing overall EPC costs, enhancing the project’s technical and economic efficiency.
