Tartessos Power Development together with its partner Chint Solar celebrated today the first module installation ceremony for the Salteras 1, 2, 3, and 4 solar PV projects, which together have a total capacity of 130 MW.
Tartessos Power Development was responsible for the origination and full project development of the projects from their initial stages in 2019 until the start of construction in January 2025, demonstrating again its strong capabilities in delivering large-scale renewable energy initiatives.
The Salteras projects are expected to be connected to the grid during the first half of 2026 via the substations Centenario (Seville) and Tomares, both owned by E-distribución.
Once operational, the plants will generate enough clean energy to power more than 80,000 households per year, avoiding the emission of approximately 77,000 tons of CO₂ annually, thus making a significant contribution to the energy transition and a sustainable and economuc energy supply.
